Objectives

  • To define the various abbreviations used in the process of accreditation and documentation of CE programs in the United States including ACPE, BOP, NABP, CE Provider, ADF, UAN, Joint Provider.
  • To describe the process of conducting a need assessment and designing, accrediting, and delivering of CE programs.
  • To explain the various online programs that are in use to handle CE programs including learning management system, ACPE webtool, CE Monitor, NABP ID request sites.
  • To explain the process of awarding CE credits and issuing certificates of completion.
