Objectives

  • Define the extent and scope of homelessness including its causes across various key demographic groups in the community, regionally and nationally.
  • Define the at-risk groups for HIV infection and their association with homelessness.
  • Identify the available drug treatment regimens used for PrEP in the homeless population and challenges to their optimal use.
  • For geriatric, adult and pediatric populations experiencing homelessness, recommend strategies and identify resources to optimize medication access and support adherence for PrEP.
